Jim Crow Laws
Jim Crow Laws are not the same as Black Codes. Jim Crow laws were passed after Black Codes. Jim Crow Laws segregated African Americans from whites. They had different restrooms, water fountains, and schools. This was allowed as long as the places were equal, which they were usually not.
