Henry Grady
Henry Grady was known as the "Spokesman of the New South". He was the editor for the Altanta Constitution in the 1880s. Grady was a member of the Atlanta Ring of Democratic political leaders and used his position to promote northern investment in southern companies. He also supported white supremecy. The Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta was named after him. Not only was a hospital named after him, but Grady County was also. Grady was admitted into the Georgia Writers Hall of Fame in 2004.
